Richmond Bartley Director Andrew Kirton

Andrew Kirton, Director

Andrew has 20 years of experience in government and business. 


He was a speech writer to former Prime Minister Helen Clark and later was Campaign Manager for the 2017 New Zealand Election that led to Jacinda Ardern becoming Prime Minister. 


In 2023, Andrew was Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Chris Hipkins.


Andrew has a deep understanding of the corporate affairs and reputation challenges faced by businesses and organisations. He spent several years in the United Kingdom working on large public affairs and communications campaigns and later was Head of Corporate Affairs at Air New Zealand.


Today, Andrew advises CEOs, Boards and senior leaders on reputation management, government relations, regulatory affairs, and strategic communications. 


Andrew founded Richmond Bartley Ltd. in 2024.
